Tommy’s Chophouse Opens In Ybor
Ybor’s steak game just leveled up with the opening of this spot. Take your pick of various cuts of meat, including wagyu, filet, ribeye, and more. Pair it with delicious sides and you’ve made a night of the new spot.

BAY DEVELOPMENTS
Two New Big Updates Out Of Tampa Airport
CLEAR has been approved to launch at the airport this fall. The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Board approved the contract at the most recent board meeting, bringing CLEAR+ lanes & automated eGates to each of TPA’s 4 airside terminals.

Tampa Airport has recently opted in to the federal government’s new TSA Gold+ program. This program is a voluntary federal program where a TSA-approved operator manages the checkpoint screening & technology. TSA continues to set security standards and oversee performance. TPA is the 3rd airport in the US to enact this change.

Tampa Ranks In Top 10 For New-Home Sales
Homes.com recently ranked the 50 largest markets for new-home sales. Tampa sits at #10 with 10,266 sales in 2025. In 2024, Tampa was ranked 8th with 12,852 sales- a 20.1% drop year over year. Even with that decline, the market still saw high numbers. This isn’t surprising seeing as all other cities, except one, showed a decline in 2025.
